- The full IF syllabus is covered namely; straight and level, climbing, descending, climbing and descending turns, unusual attitudes and radial/QDM/QDR interceptions
- Circuits and landings will take place during the dark of night and will consist of at least 12 take-offs and landings
- The cross-country will be via at least one major airport and must be a triangle navigation flight
- The night flying test will cover all aspects as per night flying test form and will be at least one hour long.
