Flight Instructor’s Rating
Instructors Rating
In order to gain the opportunity to train other pilots, one must obtain an Instructors Rating.
In order to obtain the Instructors Rating, students must have already obtained a Commercial Pilots Licence, or the instructors rating could form part of the hours flown towards the CPL test. The second requirement is the completion of the two Instructors Rating theory examinations. The third requirement is 20 hours of class room lecturing, 20 hours of air-briefings and 20 hours of patter in the air.
Please note: This course can be done on both fixed-wing and helicopter. The instructors phase could be incorporated into the CPL course
